Malaysia in a couple of hours!

Sweet or spicy...it all tasted good!

She's come good!

Bob's been spending all of her rinkits on me now, even gave me pocket money so I could get some gum bootlets for $2. Treated me to Malay lunch at the markets, a travel towel and a Malay apple juice. So we've put the past behind us!
We've done Malaysia in two hours, just enough time now for a bit of blogging, maybe a Malay curry across the road then check in for around 6 pm. All is well in our world!

Arrived in kuala lumpa

Guess what she's doing again!

She did it again

Your not here to keep tabs on bobs owings anymore Lin so I thought I'd give you an update!
Paid the taxi to the airport and bob said she'll pay for breakfast for her half..then she didn't feel like breakfast until 10 mins after I got mine! Then she went shopping for some chocolate which I though I'd get some too once I saw it, so I was promptly asked to bring some more for bob with me, gave me money for two tins...or what I was lead to believe it cost...only to find out at the cashier that I'd been shortchanged again!
After filling her in about the events over the past three weeks, bobby said 'I have always been misunderstood!'
What do you recon about our poor misunderstood sausage Lin? Can you pass around a hat for her in England, she is a pensioner after all! We should be supporting her more than we do!
Look at her..poor darlin!

On our way home again

We are at chang mai airport ready to board the plane in about half an hour, stop at kuala lumpa to get some welly boots.

Goodbye Linda and Pat

We all got up early this morning, Linda and pat packed up their last things, we had a cup of tea together then the song thaw arrived to take them to the airport,
So it was goodbye to Linda and pat, they take off at 10.10 this morning, and it will be us tomorow!

Fireworks

A really lovely last night out together!

Unfortunately bob couldn't make it she stayed at the lodge.

What a lovely surprise it was, we were served food at the tables, all food from the north of Thailand, sticky rice in baskets, different curries, pork crackling, vegetables, fried banana, served and toped up by Thai ladies And men in their lovely costumes, then we watched all the different dancing with their amazing costumes, it was a lovely evening, at the end they did their 'fireworks! Which was these big paper lamps set alight in the middle and let loose, they took of and burned whilst being taken up high by the wind.

Poor sausage

We are off to have dinner and see some Thai dancing for their last night, bob is staying home as she has not been feeling well...poor sausage..(not) she has had all of us running up and down the street keeping her fed and watered ordering us around all whilst she's been busy on Facebook as we saw whilst running around serving her!
And this is the very same person who was telling us how weak we were whilst we were sick, now demands sympathy!

Linda's dress is finished!

And it looks lovely on her! She also managed to get a pair of shies her size!

Cheers

After a hard day at the shopping Center and a hopefully final measure up for Linda's dress, we nipped in the local pub..one place we hadn't visited yet..to have a piña colada before our fried bananas and honey!
Another lovely day!

Shoes, shoes and more shoes!

There is no two pairs of shoes alike in one shop, and the next shoe shop has different shoes to the one before, you think you find a pair you like best until you move along and there's another one u like more unfortunately for Linda, Thai people have tiny feet and hardly go up past size 39 if ya lucky!
But we had a lovely lunch, made up fresh right in front if you while u wait at the food hall.

A day at the airport plaza

Linda, pat and I all went on a song thaw to the plaza here, first of all to get out of the heat of the day and to have a look around in Thai shopping centres. Bob was not feeling well and stayed at home.
I have never seen such choice of everything you can possibly think of anywhere ever.

The markets and dancing

Walked through the busiest markets I've ever been to! The lovely band playing up the middle of the road at the markets were playing again, all four of them are blind and make lovely music together.
Then Lin, pat and I went to the Thai dancing, the little Thai kids are just the cutest! A great night!

Our lovely tour guide

And the royal temple.
An eventful day still yet to come, Sunday markets and Thai dancing tonight.

The Thai national flower

And some amazing orchids!

Another Sunday ride with the local bickies!

We were all ready, having picked our nice light bikes yesterday, to take off for this Sundays adventure with the Sunday morning bikies, only to have many comments and causing a bit of an uproar, gathering and discussion amongst the bikies as to wether or not we would make it on the three bikes we picked with no gears! Linda's bike seat problem was quicklet fixed by one of the oh so friendly Thai people, who always look after us.
Well in the end we decided that we would opt instead to visit the royal garden and a student joining the bike group for the first time offered to take us there and lead us back!
Lots of amazing orchids as well as gourds and a temple to be seen.
We chopped and changed the bikes all having a turn with one bike we had with gears and a good time was had by all!
We all love the whole bike group, especially the warm up run around the town to a Thai song blaring out over loudspeaker from the back of one of the bikes....they want music..they take music!
